Foundation
Mondays, 7-10 pm 8 Weeks This class will introduce you to several introductory Meisner exercises, creating a strong foundation for future work. You will learn how to truly listen and respond to a scene partner, make strong choices, and open up emotionally. This class will teach you how to be impulsive and use your most important asset – yourself! We will practice both Repetition and Activity in this class. No previous Meisner training required. The Actor’s Imagination
Tuesdays, 7-10 pm
8 Weeks This Meisner-based class works through an advanced series of improvisational exercises in order to strengthen and explore the actor’s imagination, emotional honesty, and commitment to high stakes circumstances. If you crave gritty, honest, visceral performances from yourself and others, then come learn how it’s done! This class will bridge to scenework at certain points - in order to understand how to APPLY the moment to moment work - but will remain very process-oriented and can be taken more than once.
